Some say it is just a transition.
It is an illusion. Do right; be righteous and will have good! Restrain from the
worldly and think of the Heavenly. Shun the pleasures and accept the hardships,
but wait!! Is it so worthless? Really? To be alive; to be able to see the
felicitous beauty of a smile; to be able to listen to the dulcet tone of a
sound; to be able to smell the savory aura of an essence; to be able to enjoy
the mignon feel of a haptic?
They say; go to religion to
search your soul, but how? Prayers, the Holy Book, the pious path: are not
these things an obligation for us? But what do they want? A baffled hermit who relinquishes his life, his family
and all the beauties of this world?
Then, there is another group. For
them, this life is the reality. This world is the ultimate truth. Everyone has
his own perception about morality. There is nothing like lust or sin. It is all
about the materialistic stuff around us. Man can cling to wealth, power and
fame without concern for probity. There is nothing like an after-world,
therefore, do whatever you want to do. Enjoy the pleasures of this world.
Drugs, slangs, sex, nudity are not only acceptable rather these things are the
coolest stuff of their hipster style. Despite all these lascivious luxuries,
the suicide rate is increasing at an incredible rate. The reason is quite
obvious. Life cannot be so meaningless. From nothing to eternity. From the
birth to the quietus. From cradle to the casket, one cannot live in obnoxious
hippiedom, consuming stuff, covering the body with the cloak of tattoos,
listening to deep bass pop. These things have virtual calmness, relaxing nerves
not comforting the soul. The problem with the modern lifestyle is that it cannot
answer this basic question about the very existence of the human being.
The luxurious life of the
twenty-first century lacks spirituality. It drags a thinking youth to a
confused soul, affecting all his life leaving him wobbling for the meaning of his
life. It is really hard to live in such an unpleasant condition. When a person
is disconnected from his soul, he feels anxious, perplexed, lonely, afraid and
chronically dissatisfied with his life. In the modern age of technology, in
this era of ego, in a society run on materialistic ideals, humanity is becoming
increasingly disconnected from the wild, raw, and primal center of our beings.
Most people assume that the soul is specifically related to religion or to the
community, but the fact is that the soul goes deeper than any box of parameters
of religion or by the strict rules of a community could place on it.
